Put Your Winter On Film and Win!
Place your cold, creative concepts of the dog days of winter on digital display and submit a video ode to winter as seen through your own eyes. There's no invisible fence, so roam as far as you like: to the office holiday party, to the family festivities, to a long night of lollygagging. Nothing is taboo as long as there's a dog with you. If we dig yours the most, it'll fetch you a new hi-def video camera from Small Dog Electronics and Magic Hat!

To Enter:
- Make your video.
- Upload it to this YouTube group. (YouTube help)
- Fill out the entry form.
- Cross your fingers.
Finalist videos will be chosen by Magic Hat, but we can be influenced by lots of comments and high rankings, so get going. Email and post the pants off it. After the finalists are chosen, viewers can rate them all.
Herewith is what you need to know:
- The durational nature of your opus must be two minutes or less.
- Your masterwork must contain at least one reference of your choosing to Magic Hat.
- Your masterwork must contain at least one reference of your choosing to dogs (small or large, imaginary or real, a dog leash, a hot dog, etc...your option).
- You must have at least 21 years of total life experience as of October 1st, 2008.
- You shall submit your video to our special YouTube group by 5PM EST on January 7th, 2009.
- No small dogs must be hurt or otherwise inconvenienced during the expression of your art.
- Creativity is paramount. Points will most certainly be awarded for entries that eschew artifice and break free of convention’s shackles.
- The Grand Prize winning Artiste will receive a new High-Definition Canon HV10 video camera!
