The Main Squeeze

The Main Squeeze is a raging funk experience born within the thriving live music scene of Bloomington, Indiana, and currently residing in Chicago, IL. Since coming together in late 2009 The Squeeze have managed to establish a unique sound and identity in a short period of time. Their unique ability to tackle and funkify such a wide variety of music makes each show a unique experience in its own right. Their live performances, which fuse soulful vocals, intricate jams, tight grooves, and ripping solos have helped them develop a dedicated and rapidly growing fan base in the Midwest and the East Coast earning them slots at music festivals such as Bonnaroo, Summer Camp, Equifunk, Big Pig, and GlowFest.

American Babies

Since 2007, American Babies has been the mouthpiece for Philadelphia based musician Tom Hamilton. After spending the early 2000s building a national fan base fronting the electro-rock band Brothers Past, releasing two critically acclaimed albums, and averaging 150 shows a year, a change was in order. "Musically, I wanted to get back to the basics" he explains, "Get the song right, first. Then worry about the live show and how the music opens up from there." Hamilton went back to his roots, rediscovering the Outlaw Country, Motown, and Grateful Dead records he grew up with, and assembled a pool of musicians to pull from for recording sessions and live performances. After two full-length LPs, an EP, and three years of touring, the American Babies are hitting their stride. The live band has been solidified with David Butler (Lee "Scratch" Perry) on drums, Adam Flicker (The Brakes) on keys, and Marc Friedman (The Slip) on bass. The band has shared the bill with numerous like minded acts such as Derek Trucks, Sheryl Crow, Umphrey's McGee, Railroad Earth, and The National to name a few.

Gang of Theives

Gang of Thieves is an incredible rock and roll experience to behold. Get ready to dance and prepare for an unforgettable live performance when these talented young upstarts come to town! Hailing out of Burlington, Vermont, the Gang and their trusty dog P. Funk have the mentality of modern day road warriors, with 5 DIY coast to coast tours under their belt since the band formed in 2009. Recently, the band had a successful Kickstarter campaign, raising over $10,000 to fund their new album "Thunderfunk", recorded in Berkeley, CA with Grammy Award winning engineer Michael Rosen (Santana, Rancid, Less than Jake). The Gang is currently on their 2014 SXSW and West Coast Tour to promote the albums' release on April 20th of this year. Previous recording credits include an album with Steve Jankowski of Blood Sweat & Tears at Jankland Studios in Wall, NJ (Dinosaur Sandwich Party/2011), and a music video single at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, CA (Lost&Found/2012). The Gang has recently been nominated as "Rock Act of the Year" by the 2014 New England Music Awards.

Ryan Ober & The Loose Ends

Ryan Ober & The Loose Ends are a whole lotta dudes in various states of denim playing original rock and folk-rock-ish songs about 3 or 4 subjects. Most of the players have come from multiple bands in VT and NY, featuring instrument makers, vinyl collectors, and homesteaders.

Grundlefunk

An adventurous group with musical influences as vast as the cosmos, these young musicians bring to the stage the energy and excitement the Vermont music scene has become known for. Featuring members of Serotheft, Potbelly, The Move It Move It, and Dr. Ruckus, Grundlefunk offers up an original blend of catchy tunes painted with funk and jazz hues that could best be described as a cross between Herbie Hancock and Tower of Power. Originally a loosely assembled quartet, Grundlefunk has grown into an 8-piece resonant accouterment complete with dense horn harmonies, funky bass lines, screaming guitar solos and sensuous vocals. And boy, are they handsome.

Jason Tooth and Brian Clark
