Born of dark and cold and snow in the marrow of the Northeast’s longest night, Howl comes in on wailing winds with winter-weary eyes burning holes in sunless shadows. In its darkened depths, our inner voids are warmed.
Howl is a deeply dark, deeply satisfying beer with a light-to-medium body that is perfect for late-night sessions or a single, defrostingly delicious pour. It enters the bones and spreads its heat into the lost sanctums of the soul with a clamorous roar of roasted malts and a clean, dry finish that whispers softly of hops. All winter’s thirsts will cry out for this darkly drinkable beer that goes down smoothly like a lager but shouts with the rich full flavor for which the season calls.
Howl is summoned from Pale, Crystal and Carafa malts and hopped with Columbus and Hallertaur hops. It growls from the glass with an original gravity of 1.048, an alcohol content of 4.6% by volume and 32 IBUs.
