#9 Fondue


We ski and board.
#9 is perfect but what's more fun than food you can play with while drinking #9?
Besides, don't you have some old cheese in the fridge (save it in the freezer)?
Ingredients1/2 stick of butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 bottle of #9
1 cup chicken stock (or one cup water and a cube of chicken stock).
2 cups cheese (cheddar is a fav in these parts, not blue.. that would be harsh).

Bread and anything that would improve covered in melted cheese.
Pre-cook Italian sausage. Slices are really good.
Cooking InstructionsMelt the butter.
Put the flour in the melted butter and stir until slightly brown (you're getting rid of the flour taste).
Open the #9 and pour in (stirring).
Pour in the 1 cup chicken stock (or the water and cube).

Is it warm yet?
Toss in the cheese. Keep stirring (simmer, turning up the heat will just make a hot mess).
It will thicken and be ready when it covers the back of a spoon.

If you have a fondue pot, light it up baby.
It never last long enough for a picture so I'll include 'ski cat'.
