Engagement Filet Mignon au #9


This fantastic engagement dinner has made me and my girlfriend have an even more memorable engagement night!
Ingredients4 filet mignon

The sauce:
3 cups of #9
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 small onion sliced
2 cups sliced tri-colored peppers

The sweet potatoes:
3 sweet potatoes
1 tbsp. butter
1 cup small marshmallows

A bunch of asparagus
Cooking InstructionsCook three sweet potatoes in the oven for 1 hour on 350. Remove from oven and peel the skin off. Take the sweet potatoes and mash into a casserole dish. Stir in some butter and top with marshmallows. Cook until the marshmallows start to toast.

Boil #9, onion, and brown sugar in a saucepan for as long as it takes to make this delicately sweet sauce. Stir fast in the beginning to let out the carbonation, be careful of boiling over. Take your engagement filet's and grill them for 7min. each side on medium-high. Thicker steaks may take longer.

Start the steaming of the asparagus. When the steaks are cooked to bloody perfection ( she also loves almost rare steak ) fold some sliced tri-color peppers into the saucepan. Place 1 steak, some asparagus, and sweet potatoes on a plate. Top each steak with the magnificent beer reduction and you are bound to have one unforgettable meal on an absolutely unforgettable night!
