A completely unique experiment in brewing, Rousing Root is a crisp, medium-bodied lager that digs down deep and offers a refined maltiness with hints of sweet potatoes, sourced from Burnt Rock Farm in Huntington, Vermont. Hallertaur and Northern Brewer hops round out the brew, giving it a pleasant floral and spicy finish.
Created to aid in deciphering the puzzles along life’s road, and to interpret signs in the voyages of the spirit. Our interpretation of an I.P.A. Extremely well-balanced with a deep rich malt body and a crisp refreshing hop bitterness, this beer is full of citrus and other fruit aromas. Balance is the mantra of this beer.

A highly hopped India Pale Ale, which was formerly our spring seasonal. It began and ended with a hop bite that is itself forever balanced on the brink by a steady rhythm of malt. The label was designed by artist Stanley Mouse who is internationally acclaimed for his iconographic concert posters for venues like the Fillmore Auditoriums and the Winterland Ballroom as well as his classic album covers for the Grateful Dead and other bands.

This malty, sessionable offering is brewed with a complex combination of malts, imparting hints of caramel and chocolate, and beautifully balanced by a most modest addition of hops.
A Black I.P.A. Demo is a deliciously dark riff of an India Pale Ale. Its medley of roasted malts provide a rich backbone and heady hops help balance the beer while accentuating the roasted flavors. Demo will have your senses dancing to the beat of a different I.P.A.
A Scrumptious Amber Lager. Vinyl sails in on her shining wings as the spinning sun returns. She is the season-shifter, bursting from her cocoon to sing the ancient song of vernal yearning and to summon spring’s sweet green return...Her metamorphosis becomes our own. Her thirsts are shared by all. Drink in her mysterious elixir as the revolution blooms again. Vinyl is a deep amber-hued lager with a sweet malt taste and a slight balancing hop touch.
Black-as-Night Lager. Born of dark and cold and snow in the marrow of the Northeast’s longest night, Howl comes in on wailing winds with winter-weary eyes burning holes in sunless shadows. In its darkened depths our inner voids are warmed. Howl will remain until your bones are thawed, your spirit is freed… and until there is no longer a need. A dark, medium-bodied beer with a rich roasted malt flavor and smooth hop bitterness.
An enormous play in one significant act. Ravell is a peculiar, palatable porter brewed with whole vanilla beans and Pale, Crystal and Chocolate malts. The smooth malt body abounds with a mild, pleasant bitterness while the vanilla beans create a full-bodied, full-flavored finish perfect for pondering with each subsequent sip.
Amber ode to the open road. As the leaves line the trees with colors bright, the Autumnal Amber Ramble comes into sight! Roxy Rolles pours in her wake foliage fallen and a perfect pairing of malt and hops.

Ludwidicus Gootz, a 14th century farmer with an unnatural thirst, concocted an ale born of deep snow and whirling winds in his Germanic homeland. Shunned by the brotherhood of monks, Gootz took it upon himself to spread this heavenly beer throughout the land. Upon his death, Gootz revelers rose up and demanded his induction into the Sainthood… and hence his ale became known as Saint Gootz.

This delectable new brewing experiment, harvested from the minds of our Vermont brewers, is made with vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and fresh Champlain Orchard apples grown right down the road in Shoreham, Vermont. Our Apple Pie Ale is full of scents and spices that will get your memory jogging to points long past, yet still golden delicious.

Ticket to Rye
A Rye I.P.A. that offers the imbiber an opening act of rye spice, nicely woven into a hearty, bitter backup from an entire band of Nugget hops. The harmony created by these ingredients is just what any epic show calls for.
Perfect form with a smooth, malty opening line followed by a crisp, citrusy hop-filled second stanza. The final piece of its poetic existence is a dash of cool cucumber combined with the slightest of hibiscus tangs.
A thin veil rests between two worlds, shrouding one’s view from the other. Lives of the present and those long gone may cross the boundary if they wish, but they must first awaken to the possibility. Once eyes have opened, a harmonious convergence of life and death can be seen, the oneness deveiled, shifting into sight.
High in the hills of mountains white with winter, in the settled snow, there is a sudden shift. As bitter winds begin to blow, the packed Graupel moves mysteriously and creates a cascading avalanche of sound and change. Revealed are stalks of wheat harvested for a warming Wheat Wine. Apollo and Simcoe hops help to create a big-bodied beer – malty up front with a nice hop bite in back – and a 10.8% ABV that will thaw the coldest of souls. Behold Graupel, born of avalanche, brewed of wheat and imbibed below the swirling stars of the universe at large.
Over the Pils
A delectable Imperial Pilsner without comparison. Over the Pils features a smooth malt body that is paired with fruit and floral notes from generous additions of Brewer’s Gold and Crystal hops. Beneath the bold hop aroma hides a subtle warmth brewed to bring to mind the rolling green hillsides of summer.
The signal we seek to send with our Smoked Porter, Burnpile, is this - It’s delicious. Six malts, ranging in roast from dark to darker, are used in its brewing, offering an aroma of caramel and chocolate with a subtle, complimentary smokiness. Burnpile is brewed with the goal of gathering kindred spirits seeking warmth, flavor and a small-batch craft beer.
Some mysteries are more easily attainable through collected energies and certain assembled elements of seasons, dreams and that which is not at all what it seems. Hold a Séance and peer into an ethereal world of pleasures lying just on the other side of our psyche, floating on shifting winds, through blurred seasons and between waking and sleeping bends.
Heart of Darkness
Filled with the howling of black dogs that haunt the long-forgotten shadows of the human soul. This dense liquid-silk summoned hope from hibernation and balanced winter’s endless white snows with a rich swirl of creamy black rapture.
A Weiss-style ale with bready malt flavor balanced by a touch of hops and complemented by the tart berry flavors of elderberry.
This sour, bitter, tantalizingly tart ale is brewed with Apollo, Bravo and Cascade hops along with a healthy addition of passion fruit juice. The result is 85 IBUs of Sour IPA, beautifully balanced with a big hop bite battling for supremacy against a tart passion fruit tingle.
Starlit is a true, robust English porter. Medium bodied and full of dark chocolate and caramel malt flavors. The finish is dried with lingering flavors of star anise and slight warmth of alcohol.
A refreshing, sun-inspired spring ale. A subtle floral spiciness from Apollo and Northern Brewer hops is balanced by earthy notes from dandelion leaves, while acidulated malts provide a smooth, slightly sour malt body.
A genre-bending mix of an unfiltered American wheat beer and an IPA, Encore showcases the Simcoe hop with its heady floral nose and dry, citrusy hop finish.
